QA Engineer
About the Role & Company
Role Overview:
The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of MyOperator’s software products through systematic testing and quality assurance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test cases for new and existing product features.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and software defects.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to investigate and resolve issues.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure features meet defined requirements.
- Participate in the software development and testing lifecycle.
- Perform API and application testing where required.
- Help improve testing processes, documentation, and overall product quality.
- Ensure releases meet expected quality, functionality, and reliability standards.
Eligibility & Requirements
Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance concepts.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand product requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with developers, product managers, and other teams.
Required Technical Skills:
- Manual Testing & Test Case Design
- Functional & Regression Testing
- Bug Identification, Tracking & Reporting
- API Testing
- SDLC & STLC
- Test Planning & Test Execution
- Basic understanding of SQL/database testing
- Familiarity with QA/testing tools and defect tracking systems
- Basic understanding of automation testing is an added advantage.
