Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Guiding Academics, we aim to provide transparent and fair refund practices for all our paid services.

1. Eligible Services

Refunds may apply to:

  • Mentorship programs

  • Premium events

  • Subscription plans

  • Internship placement fees (if applicable)

2. Mentorship Programs

Full Refund (100%)

  • Cancellation within 24 hours of purchase

  • Mentor unavailable with no replacement

  • Technical issues preventing service delivery

Partial Refund (50%)

  • Cancellation after 24 hours but before first session

  • Less than 25% of program completed

  • Mutual agreement between mentor and user

No Refund

  • More than 50% sessions completed

  • No-shows or policy violations

  • Requests after program completion

3. Event Registrations

Full Refund

  • Event canceled by Guiding Academics

  • Cancellation 7+ days before event

  • Technical issues for virtual events

Partial Refund (75%)

  • Cancellation 3–6 days before event

  • Event rescheduled without suitable alternative

No Refund

  • Cancellation within 48 hours

  • No-shows or free events

4. Subscription Services

Monthly Plans

  • Cancel before next billing cycle

  • Prorated refund if 15+ days remain

Annual Plans

  • Full refund within 7 days

  • Prorated refund within 30 days

  • No refund after 30 days

5. Internship Placement Fees

Full Refund

  • No placement within promised timeframe

  • Internship canceled by partner

Partial Refund

  • User withdraws after application submission

No Refund

  • Internship accepted or started

  • User misconduct or eligibility failure

6. Refund Process

  • Request via dashboard or email: refunds@guidingacademics.com

  • Include Order ID, registered email, and reason

  • Review: 3–5 business days

  • Refund processing: 7–10 business days

7. Refund Timelines

  • Cards: 5–7 business days

  • UPI/Net Banking: 3–5 business days

  • Wallets: 2–3 business days

  • Bank Transfer: 7–10 business days

8. Non-Refundable Items

  • Downloadable content

  • Completed sessions/events

  • Transaction and processing fees

  • Promotional discounts


9. Service Cancellation by Us

  • Full refund issued automatically

  • Email/SMS notification sent

10. Force Majeure

In unavoidable situations, services may be postponed or shifted online. Refunds are assessed case-by-case.

11. Policy Updates

We may update this policy at any time. Changes will be notified via email or platform alerts.
